About Terence Hawkins

I was born in Uniontown PA in 1956.

There.  I said it.

Through a series of administrative errors still the subject of chagrined scrutiny I was permitted not only to attend but graduate from Yale, where I was publisher of the Yale Daily News. The wind next blew me to Madison, Wisconsin, for law school.  After practicing there for three years I returned to New Haven, where I chase ambulances for a day job.

Guess I just like college towns.

FAYETTE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

where I grew up, has achieved probably unwelcome immortality as Fayette Nam in Philipp Meyers’ American Rust.

Feigning an interest in sports.

The graveyard behind Joe Domen’s Barbershop, Uniontown.  Until recently I believed  it to be a cemetery for pious pets.   Then I read the tombstones.

Halloween 1961.  I am a space man.
